Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that causes the skin cells to grow too quickly, forming thick, red, and scaly patches on the skin. These patches, also known as plaques, can be itchy and painful and occur anywhere on the body, including the scalp, nails, and joints.
Causes of Psoriasis

Symptoms of Psoriasis
Symptoms of Psoriasis depend on the type and severity of the condition. Common symptoms are raised, red patches of skin that are covered in thick, silvery scales. These patches cause itches, pain, bleeding or crack.

- \Thickened, pitted, or ridged nails
- \Swollen and stiff joints (psoriatic arthritis)
